Race Morning

Believe it or not, but I slept well. I think it was the best night sleep in a long while. I went to bed nice and early not letting me get interrupted by anything. I did, of course, look at the clock periodicaly during the night thinking I'd over sleep or wondering how much more I'd have. But now is the real deal.

I have to get to the starting line. It's only about 15 minute from here, I heard. I hope to start out early and at a good pace so I can be back home before dark. These races, you always think you'll get lost. It's sort of eerie. There you are at full meditation and wondering at each intersection where to got. Most of the time, I'm not even there...I'm meditating and not aware of my surroundings. Let's hope I keep on course and do well.

Happy trails!
